Is there a free trial?
There's no free trial, but you can get a free one-time report on any company. It arrives by email in a few minutes, so you can judge the depth before you choose a plan.
What's the difference between Starter and Pro?
Pro covers 25 competitors instead of 10 and reads all 16 channels instead of 9, adding Careers & hiring, Meta ads, Google ads, LinkedIn ads, Reddit, Reviews and USPTO trademarks. It also adds Slack delivery, the REST API and priority support. Both plans get the weekly report, suggested moves, the audio summary, the full history and your AI assistant through MCP.
What if I need to track more competitors?
Starter covers 10 and Pro covers 25. You can swap competitors in and out of your list at any time, or upgrade and add more straight away. For a portfolio of companies, see Investor Intelligence.
How does billing work?
Monthly, or yearly with one month free. You pay by card through Stripe, and tax is added at checkout where it applies. Upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades at your next billing date. There's no minimum contract: cancel anytime from Billing in your dashboard.
Can my team share one plan?
Starter and Pro are for one person, with one sign-in. Share what you learn by forwarding the weekly report email, or by posting the reports to a shared Slack channel on Pro. A colleague who wants their own sign-in needs their own plan. Firms tracking a portfolio get unlimited seats on VC Portfolio.
How accurate are the reports?
Every finding links to the public page it came from, so you can check it in one click. Alertedly compares each channel with the week before and only reports what changed.
How is this different from Google Alerts?
Google Alerts sends you news links. Alertedly reads 16 channels, including job boards, ad libraries, Reddit and reviews, tells you what changed and why it matters, and keeps a week-by-week history so you can see the pattern.
What happens to my data?
Your competitor list and reports stay confidential. We store only what's needed to produce your reports, never sell your data, and share it only with the service providers that run Alertedly, listed on our Compliance page.
